Church Kandili

Description

In Greek Orthodox tradition the kandili  (vigil lamp) is lit in homes to symbolize the presence of Christ as the “Light of the World.” The light represents faith, hope, and prayer, and is a way for individuals to invite God’s presence into their homes.
